Better chocolate for everyone: that's our goal. In our 2014 Sustainability Report we draw critical but positive conclusions. Have we met our goals? What challenges does Chocolats Halba face?
People and the environment are valuable resources for us. We can only grow together with them. We want to advance along the path to becoming the chocolate manufacturer of the fu-ture through sustainable action and with innovative ideas. In order to reach this goal we have taken steps along our entire value chain. For instance, today, we source cocoa exclusively from our own projects or fair trade, and our chocolate production is CO2-neutral for the fourth consecutive year. In addition, by founding Chocolats Halba Honduras and entering into a partnership with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC we have set two further milestones in the re-establishment of the cocoa sector in Honduras.
